I have always appreciated beautiful houses and always sought out ideas
for living. In my travels I reflect on the home, visiting works of architecture
and dwelling all over the world. My last impressions include those of the home of Charles and Ray Eames in California, an essential, rigorous design, in the midst of greenery; or the houses by Nordic designers, light wood in a luminous, serene atmosphere. But I have also loved many other houses, anonymous but enchanting. I have developed my intuitions,
in contact with great Italian designers, like Achille Castiglioni and
Vico Magistretti. For some years I have gradually been assembling
a collection of furniture, objects, complements, fabrics that express my idea
of the home, the house è De Padova.
