In the centre of Stockholm, an elegant building of the early 20th century is the seat of Nordiska Galleriet, the most qualified interior design showroom in Sweden, which has recently strengthened its partnership with De Padova.
The two companies venture has been introduced by a special event during which more than 300 people have visited the showroom: architects, journalists, design retailers. Nordiska reserved a wide exhibition area to the main items of De Padova collection; the setting, still present in the showroom, perfectly embodies the elegant simplicity and the refined style of the Italian brand.
The showroom wide surfaces develop on two levels: a bright open-space at the ground level, with the precious original floor of 1913 restored by the architect Jorgen Hoi in 1963, and a basement for offices and products display.
Nordiska Galleriet was established in 1921 as a cars and antiques gallery. Mr Olle Heigard is today the company owner and he directly descends from the founder family.
The showroom, which has always focused on Italian design brands, is today an important partner for De Padova. Further exciting joint presentations of new products are being planned for next year.
