As of May 2008, De Padova has started a new collaboration with En Linea in Barcelona.
The agreements resulted in a strong presence of the De Padova brand in the showroom, with a choice of products representative of the company and a dedicated preferential area.
The current location of En linea, inaugurated 8 years ago, occupies an area of 1000 square meters dedicated to home and office furniture from the best international design collections.
The space, an old warehouse in Calle Còrcega 284, was fully renovated but the special architectural characteristics of the building were maintained and enhanced, leaving a reminder of the past industrial structure. It consists of a loft with a 5 meter high ceiling, old concrete pillars adorned with elegant capitals and fair-faced brick walls. The central part of the loft is illuminated by overhead skylights; the rays of light reflect on the white floor, enhancing the furniture displayed.
Business partners Javier Serra and Pepe Gallart started their activity in 1987, as the Barcelona branch of an Italian furniture distributor with offices in Madrid. Shortly after, En linea set forth on its own and selected the most prestigious design companies to provide consulting services on projects. The company’s collaborators are oriented by a philosophy of luxury without ostentation that results in spaces where nothing is superfluous, in perfect harmony with the De Padova style.
