De Padova among the exponents of the architectural language of the AV railway stations
In a new project of urban redesign of the stations created and designed to receive Alta Velocità (High Speed) trains, De Padova with its furniture has contributed to the redefinition of the station as a place of encounter and communication.
In the recently regenerated railway stations of Roma Termini, Milano Centrale, Torino Porta Nuova, Bologna and Florence, and in the new Roma Tiburtina station (inaugurated on 28th November by the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano), the furniture of the collection has made the public area of FrecciaClub an elegant and functional space. A project followed up by the Contract division of De Padova, so that waiting for the train becomes more pleasant; here it’s possible to relax sitting on a comfortable armchair Basket or Flower, going over documents on a Shine table, or flipping through a magazine next to a Trio table.
The new union of De Padova and Trenitalia, for an advanced innovation and functionality, will come up again in FrecciaClubs for the regeneration of large railway junctions such as Venice, Verona, Bari and other cities, too.
DePadova and the project for Alta Velocità stations: places of a renewed urban and territorial identity, that mark the beginning of a new season of contemporary architecture, on the cutting edge on a worldwide scale.
