Rokumaru

Nendo
2008

A poetic vision of a tree that becomes a coat rack. Nendo interprets nature with oriental symbolism: the six branches are the radii of an imaginary circle, the union of the Japanese words roku – six - and maru - circle. Simply perfect, in its disguised complexity. The three legs have a rhomboidal section. The angled branches are cut at the ends, to hang jackets and overcoats.

Type Coat rack.

Material Structure in solid ash with rhomboid section.

Base Plastic feet.

Finish / Colour Natural or wenge-stained ash, finished with open-pore acrylic varnish.
