Alternata is an innovative and original wall-based system. The modules – rectangular containers of different lengths and depths – alternate to form a sort of checkerboard of full and empty cells. Infinite combinations, where the white of the structure can be varied thanks to the possibility of insertion of backs in different colors. Open and closed units take turns, revealing and concealing. To contain home technology, books, objects, clothing. Alternata matches the minimum thickness of shelves with a 45-degree beveled section, for perfect combining of modules. Alternata offers specific solutions. For example: elements organized for wiring, for the home entertainment technology of the latest generation, from stereo systems to flat-screen TVs.

Type Modular bookcase.

Material Modules in HPL bilaminated MDF, coated with polyurethane finish. Wall-mounted support frame in steel. Back panels in faced MDF, coated with polyurethane paint.

Finish / Colour Modules and internal shelves in white lacquer. Back panels available in the colors white, orange and gray. Back panels of 120 cm and for TV only in white. Wall-mounted support frame with black paint finish.

Note The modules are divided into: open compartments, compartments with fold-back doors, two-drawer units, writing desks. Support frames should always be added to the bookcase modules. The frames make it possible to create large compositions, and are required to keep all the containers in perfect alignment. The structure creates a space between the wall and the bookcase for the passage of wires, generating a particular shadow effect. Anchor screws are supplied for attachment to masonry walls and adjustment to compensate for surface irregularities of the walls themselves. The open compartments with fold-back doors should always be used with a back panel. The same is true of the spaces between one module and the next, which should always be completed with a back panel (otherwise the support frame becomes visible). The 120-cm open module comes only with a white back panel with openings for wiring. Internal accessories: internal shelf with vertical divider, small self-supporting internal shelf, suitable for all open and fold-back door modules; in the L 70 module only the small internal shelf is used. A vertical divider makes it possible to adapt it to elements of greater width, creating a lateral compartment. 4-separator kit, used to obtain a space for wiring and/or sockets behind the back panel. Wiring tray, attached to separators, to contain wires and sockets if required; back panels for TV, with opening at the center for the wall attachment of the TV screen.
