Studio Cerri & Associati
In 1998 Pierluigi Cerri, together with Alessandro Colombo created the Studio Cerri & Associati. Studio Cerri & Associati works in the planning sector of architecture, industry, graphic design and shipbuilding.The partners coordinate a staff of 25 professional architects, designers and graphic designers. Projects of Studio Cerri & Associati have been realized in Italy, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, USA, Japan and Australia.
Some realizations are the projects for the revaluation of the area surrounding the Fiera di Bologna, the renovation of a building in via Bagutta in Milan and the new headquarters of e. Biscom in Milan. In 2001 they received a contract for the renovation of Palazzo Rosso meseum in Genoa. The partners also received the third prize at International Architectural Contract, Milan 2001- Millenium – Segno Luminoso.
The Studio Cerri & Associati planned the internal design of the 47mt. motor yacht Blowzy, 56’ Magnum Zero, 41mt. motor yacht Blue Ice, 30mt. motor yacht Pmfwiw and 105’ Loa Sloop. Exhibitions also directed by the Studio are Made in Italy, La Città e il Design, Nuove Acquisizioni Triennale and Mobili come Aforismi Triennale, Milan; Lingotto 1915-2002 on the occasion of Pinacoteca Giovanni and Marella Agnelli opening, Turin.
In 2001 Studio Cerri & Associati has received the Compasso d’Oro prize for Titano table designed for Poltrona Frau where, at the moment, they are responsable for Art Direction and Planning creation of new Gebrüder Thonet – Vienna models. They also have elaborated the corporate identity of Unifor, Fabbian Illuminazione, e.Biscom, Prada America’s Cup and visual identity of Arcimboldi Theater in Milan.
The partners have realized several exhibitions for Maserati, Fiat, Pirelli, Molteni & C, Unifor. Last projects are the covering of archaeological excavation of Domus Romana, Rimini, the study of Parco Archeologico of Cortona, the new pavillon of Bologna trade fair, Dada and Molteni showrooms, the new Brioni and Gebrüder Thonet – Vienna showrooms in Milan and Vienna, the corporate identity of Genova 04 Capitale Europea della Cultura events, the system of signs of Parco Tecnologico in Pula, the visual identity of Super Warhol exhibition in Montecarlo, France and the corporate identity of MART (Museum of modern and contemporary art of Trento and Rovereto).
