During the Milan Design Week we will be present in different installations and spaces throughout the city:
Superhotel
During SUPERDESIGN SHOW 2019, Giulio Cappellini presents his new project SUPERHOTEL, an international and yet hihgly Italian hotel that mixes specially made top artisan and industrial products.
De Padova is present within Cappellini’s Superhotel project with some relevant products of its collection: the Blendy sofa designed by Omi Tahara, with an enveloping design that perfectly balances the thin and light thicknesses. The Margherita armchair by Piero Lissoni, characterised by past memories, and at the same time by a contemporary line. The Chesto armchair designed by Patrick Nourget, in its lower and wider versione. The Otis round table by Lorenz * Kaz with essential lines is accompanied by the Lady Pollack armchairs designed by Vico Magistretti. A set of products representing the concepts of timeless connections, so importanto for the De Padova style.
Alson part of the Superhotel will be K6 kitchen which reinvents movement: its worktop slides alongside the depth and not the kitchen length. The secret of the “K” collection by Norbert Wangen is the ability to understand how to aesthetically tie in both flexibility and functionality in the ‘kitchen cube’. An on-going conceptual development, the series continues to address these challenges. As the first ever K2 pioneered the idea of a monoblock featuring a sliding top with a dual function: concealing the working area when the not in use and also serving as a table top.

The Design Experience 2019
The Design Experience is now in its fourth edition; the Archiproducts Milano space prepares to play host by donning a new layout, welcoming professionals in a design set that counts over 50 international brands.
Visitors are welcomed into the Living Now Apartment, designed by the Marcante Testa studio. The interior display here fluidly dialogues with technology, in a perfect symbiosis between innovation and design, perfect space for the De Padova products: Vidun Table (Vico Magistretti design) theatrical, like a sculpture. The tempered glass top offers a view of the base. “It is always the conceptual detail that attracts people’s attention”, Vico Magistretti said. Marocca (Vico Magistretti design) chair, the simple appearance conceals the highly sophisticated craftsmanship of its construction.

Casa Salvatori
Salvatori, a company known for the sophisticated processing of marble and stone a real extension of its showroom in via Solferino 11. “Casa Salvatori”: an apartment with the aim of showing the distinctive stylistic features of the brand.
Developed in collaboration with Elisa Ossino, Casa Salvatori hosts De Padova products So (Naoto Fukasawa design): essential, yet highly useful. Its few elements recall the Japanese word that inspired its name: to be simple. M16 chair, new “chiavarina” chair with armrests, more flexible and lighter than its predecessor. Lastly, the Erei Sofa (Elisa Ossino design) appears to be levitating, as it rises from the floor thanks to slim legs despite its important silhouette.

Perfect Darkness
Elisa Ossino and Josephine Akvama Hoffmeyer open the doors of Perfect Darkness, an apartment installation with a selection of award-winning international design studios that share a passion for creativity and research. Trademarks and cultural values combine tradition and innovation with authenticity and integrity. Boffi participates at the event as technical partner.

Listone Giordano, new Flagship store opening
Listone Giordano opens a new showroom in Via Santa Cecilia 6 in Milan. Designed by architect Michele De Lucchi. The new showroom will be called Arena and will be a place for the company’s products and for discussion, comparison and knowledge on the great themes of nature, wood and human sensitivity. Red Lounge – Salone del Mobile
During the next Salone del Mobile Milano, De Padova will be the protagonist not only at the fair, but also within the Red Lounge of Cosmit, a meeting point for journalists, designers, architects and selected guests.
The Red Lounge project, designed by Lissoni Associati, features a welcoming area divided into small-furnished areas with a courtesy service, cloakroom and a snack bar.

Elle Decor at Work. The Evolution of Workspace
Multi-tasking offices, places of well-being, coworking: how are work spaces changing? This is the theme chosen by Elle Decor Italia for the exhibition that will be set up at Palazzo Bovara on the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2019, from 8 to 18 April 2019.

The De Padova and MA/U Studio products have been chosen to complement the new display window of the prestigious clothing brand Bel Boutique in the Corso Monforte store.

Boffi and De Padova participate to the window of the Society Limonta space in via Palermo, leading brand in home textile design and research of materials and colors for bed, table and bathroom.
