- President for France
Located since 1995 on Boulevard Saint-Germain, where the majority of big fashion and design brands are concentrated, Boffi’s Paris showroom is the only one that was entirely dedicated to kitchens until 2017. In a beautifully preserved 300-sqm (3,200 sq ft) Parisian apartment with hardwood floors, a solid oak staircase, and intricate mouldings and woodwork, Boffi Art Director Piero Lissoni has designed an interior that highlights each piece of furniture in a fresh, contemporary atmosphere. Spanning three levels, the showroom presents the latest collections by Boffi, as well as furniture by brands De Padova and MA/U Studio – which have recently merged with Boffi –, bringing a warm and natural touch to the décor. Seen from the Boulevard Saint-Germain, the ground-floor windows leave no ambiguity as to the showroom’s specialty; seamless kitchens with exclusive finishes demonstrate Boffi’s immense know-how. Products shown in the basement and on the first floor include pieces for other rooms of the home – dining room, living room, bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, etc. – designed by renowned names (Vico Magistretti, Achille Castiglioni, Piero Lissoni, Nendo, Lucidi Pevere, etc.). The quality of the scenography is matched by the staff’s high level of expertise. Bringing together project managers, drafters, technicians and contractors specially trained to install Boffi furniture, the showroom’s design office is uniquely equipped to oversee and control the progress of interior projects, from the choice of products to their final installation (in France and abroad). Architect clients also have access to a well-organised work space, complete with a working kitchen and a large material library, to explore options and make the right choices. Headed by Roberto Lotti, the Boffi showroom is one of Paris’s major design landmarks and a trusted partner for the most exclusive projects. Boffi Paris has been a participant of design festival D’Days since the first year, presenting ambitious installations by such figures as food designer Marc Brétillot (2003 and 2013), Cédric Martineaud (voted for Best D’Days scenography by AD readers in 2010), graffiti artist DaCruz and the design collective Krux Amsterdam (2015).
