The Edda armchair reinterprets the archetype of the legless Japanese floor seat through an essential and informal design. The stitching that defines the volumes, the soft padding and the solid wood supporting structure come together in calibrated proportions conceived for contemporary interiors, where comfort and minimalism meet. Federica Biasi’s design vision naturally enters De Padova’s aesthetic horizon, in continuity with a research path that, from the very beginning, has intertwined cross-cultural influences with formal rigor. The Edda armchair arises from a silent dialogue between disciplines, cultures and memories. A sign that captures different influences and translates them into a coherent synthesis, capable of absorbing references and returning them in a measured language. Its organic lines and the balance of heterogeneous features amplify De Padova’s formal language, engaging in an ideal dialogue with the most iconic products in the collection.
