With Nesida, Elisa Ossino designs a family of coffee tables that brings together geometric abstraction and material memory. Three freestanding tables conceived as sculptural presences — autonomous yet in dialogue with one another — capable of defining space with measure and rigor. The project is grounded in a primary balance of forms: the rectangle of the base and the circle of the top. Two archetypal and organic figures, emblematic of Elisa Ossino’s language, intersect to generate a balanced interaction. The solidity of the lower volume meets the visual lightness of the circular top in a play of calibrated proportions that lends stability and rhythm to the whole. The base is carved from a solid block of stone, expertly crafted to achieve the perfect balance between weight and stability. The material used for the Nesida triad is unique: honed ivory-white Pietra di Vicenza. A compact, luminous stone with a warm and delicate tone, deeply connected to the Vicenza area and its architectural tradition. Used in historic palazzi and Palladian villas, it is reinterpreted here in a contemporary key, transformed into an essential domestic element. The collection consists of three freestanding coffee tables, available in three different heights and three different diameters. These variables allow for overlapping compositions or spatially distributed arrangements, creating dynamic sequences and layered configurations.
