On the occasion of De Padova’s seventieth anniversary, the company pays tribute to one of its most iconic tables: Shine, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1991 and an enduring part of the collection. Characterized by shaped legs and glossy mirror-like finishes, Shine represents a classic within the collection’s design language: an object that interprets space with elegant, understated presence, expressing a balance between form and function. In 2026, to mark the anniversary, the table is celebrated through a targeted update that enhances its materials, expands its dimensions, and extends its use to outdoor environments. The structure is enriched with a new stainless steel base, available in polished, white, and black finishes, while the tops are offered in a selection of marbles: Bianco Carrara, Calacatta Oro, Grigio Greystone, Grigio Carnico, Valentine Gray, Emperor Dark, Rosso Lepanto, and Verde Alpi. In the outdoor version, Shine retains its formal identity while introducing iroko wood slatted tops, a natural material suitable for exterior use, and a glazed lava stone variant, ensuring aesthetic continuity and material quality even in open-air settings.
