Traditional Japanese architecture is the common thread in this series of Japanese coffee tables that manifest in different heights, shapes and sizes. Temple is one of those furnishings that can fulfil various functions: a coffee table or a low table to hold a magazine, a tray or a book. Interacting with one another, they create an interior landscape where the thin legs find stability in the artisanal joinery of the horizontal parts, with different intersections and heights creating eclectic and stackable combinations. The frame and tabletop of this Japanese coffee table are made of solid beech painted snow white or charcoal grey, finished in water- or solvent-based transparent varnish.
