The clean lines of this outdoor sofa are embellished by an abundance of unexpected details with simple contrast stitching in primary tones that references Paul Smith’s fashion heritage by applying his sartorial savoir-faire, like the leather straps along the backrest, or the exposed joints recalling the Japanese cabinet-making tradition much admired by the designer. Paul Smith designs this outdoor sofa with skilful use of colour that expertly ranges from classic to vibrant with sophisticated ease, in a carefully considered palette of earthy tones and new shades, together with sustainable materials of natural origin such as hemp, kapok and recycled feathers.
