A wooden stool and a modern chair to be added to the living room, a designer kitchen or a study. Everyday Life Stool is part of the Paul Smith collection of furnishings that also includes sofas, armchairs and poufs, all distinguished by contrast stitching verging on embroidery that reflects the project’s sartorial skill. The frame is simple, made of solid ash with a charcoal stain, a square plywood seat with a thin layer of polyurethane foam makes it as comfortable as an upholstered chair. Paul Smith’s sartorial style is evident in the seat’s piping, in different colours of pigmented leather that reiterates the same stitching as the leather benches and trays.
